AiMock privacy policy

This policy explains what information AiMock collects, how it is used, and how users can contact us with privacy-related requests. It applies to the AiMock website and the AiMock Android app.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use AiMock, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Account information such as name, email address, username, and Google account identifier when you sign in or create an account.
  • Profile information such as profile photo provided by Google Sign-In.
  • Study and usage information such as exam attempts, scores, progress data, paused exams, shared exam participation, and activity needed to provide learning features.
  • Content you submit, including questions, uploaded images, PDFs, spreadsheets, URLs, and chat or study prompts you provide while using AiMock features.
  • Device and app information such as Android device model, app version, installation identifier, push token, Android version, and notification permission status when you use the Android app.
  • Technical and session information such as session identifiers, request metadata, and operational logs used to keep the service secure and functional.

How we use information

We use collected information to operate and improve AiMock, including to:

  • authenticate users and maintain account sessions;
  • deliver mock tests, study tools, progress features, and saved work;
  • support Google Sign-In and account recovery or security checks;
  • send in-app notices and Android push notifications when enabled;
  • process uploads and prompts to generate study content or AI-assisted responses;
  • measure usage, troubleshoot issues, monitor reliability, and prevent abuse.

AI and third-party processing

AiMock includes AI-assisted features. When you use those features, the prompts, uploaded source material, and related context needed to fulfil the request may be processed by third-party service providers that help us run the service.

  • Google services are used for Google Sign-In and certain AI-powered features.
  • Firebase services may be used for mobile push notification delivery and device registration workflows.
  • We may rely on infrastructure and service providers that help us host, secure, and operate the platform.

Do not upload highly sensitive personal, financial, or medical information into study prompts or file uploads unless it is necessary for your use case and you are comfortable sharing it for processing.

Notifications and mobile data

If you allow notifications on Android, AiMock may store a mobile push token and related device details so notifications can be sent to your device. You can disable notifications in your device settings.

The Android app and website also use standard session and sign-in mechanisms to keep you signed in and provide core functionality.

How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only in limited situations such as:

  • with service providers who help us operate authentication, hosting, AI, storage, or push notification systems;
  • when needed to enforce our terms, protect the service, investigate abuse, or respond to lawful requests;
  • with institutions, teachers, or authorized administrators where account structure or assigned access within AiMock requires it.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain account history, support exam and progress features, meet security needs, and comply with legal or operational requirements.

Retention may vary depending on the type of data, whether an account remains active, and whether records are needed for fraud prevention, dispute handling, or institutional reporting.

Your choices

  • You may choose whether to enable Android notifications.
  • You may stop using the service at any time.
  • You may contact us to request help with account, privacy, or data-related questions.
